COMPANY OVERVIEW 

ESP Consulting has a diverse team of consultants based out of the Williams Lake office.  These qualified professionals specialise primarily in the areas of employment services, career counselling and organizational change and transition.  Recently, ESP Consulting has opened additional offices in Quesnel and 100 Mile House. 

In addition to the in-house team, ESP Consulting employs 20 professional counsellors and/or facilitators.  They specialise in the delivery of transition, outplacement services and human resource development related program services to both private and public sector clients.  These consultants are based throughout the province of BC. 

On an ongoing basis, ESP Consulting is working with the Government of British Columbia to assist employees currently undergoing transition in the workplace.  Facilitators from our firm work with impacted employees through one on one counselling for career decision-making, and also through the facilitation of workshops that address the needs of both those leaving the public service, and those who are remaining. 

Over a period of eleven years, ESP Consulting has contracted with HRDC and the provincial government to deliver employment related services to over 6,000 individuals in communities throughout the Cariboo and Chilcotin districts.  We have developed and implemented innovative services and programs to address the specific needs of clients including:

• High risk youth,

• Older workers,

• Persons living with disabilities,

• Income assistance recipients,

• Government employees,

• Forestry sector workers,

• Mining sector workers,

• First Nations members,

• Women returning to the workforce,

• And rural residents

ESP Consulting has assisted clients in the development of Return to Work Action Plans (RTWAP) for skill enhancement over a six year period through the JOB program.  Over the past three years, ESP Consulting has also worked with clients in the employment maintenance dimension through our delivery and community co-ordination of the Targeted Wage Subsidy Program.

ESP Consulting has delivered the Partners In Employment (PIE_) under the auspices of Human Resources Development Canada (HRDC).  PIE was developed by ESP Consulting in response to the needs of the local economy.  Since its inception in 1998, the Pie program has assisted 3,000 clients to secure employment using the RTWAP process.  Our PIE team works with passion and commitment to assist the unemployed to secure employment and to achieve self-sufficiency.

In addition to these long-term relationships, ESP Consulting has worked with private firms through times of transition.  Mining and forestry companies, impacted by change have utilised ESP Consulting to assist their employees.  Our company has developed and implemented economic development strategies to assist businesses and communities.  ESP Consulting continuously strives to bring together a balance of accountability with a sense of value for the needs of communities, both economic and social.
