- Retail Sales:
selling is a skill and many employers expect staff to use only their natural abilities. Proven strategies are used to increase staff ability to assist customers in purchasing your product. Skills taught include how to set up displays, how to approach customers and how to close the deal.
- Customer Service: developing the skills and passion to develop an employee group willing to go that extra step to serve your clientele.
- Transition: every industry in the world is experiencing significant change right now. Employees often have difficulty in accepting that change. These workshops help employees to become “Ambassadors of Change”, more willing to work with the change rather than against it.
- Myers-Briggs Type Indicator
(MBTI): every group of people is made up of unique individuals. MBTI workshops offer people an opportunity to identify their own preferences, while gaining a better understanding of the people around them. By learning the different motivations of individuals within their team, they are more able to work effectively within that group.
- Personality Dimensions : a fun and exciting road to self-discovery, Personality Dimensions helps individuals to understand themselves and how to draw on their personal strengths at work and at home. It also works with teams or employee groups to show the different ways that others may view the world around them.
- Team
Building: a team’s strength is not based on the strength of each individual, but rather the individual’s strength at being part of a team. Individual skills are much different than the skills needed to be part of an effective team. Our facilitators use many different types of assessments and tools to work with teams in strengthening communication, motivation and productivity.
- Communication: often the words get in the way. Communication is on many levels the most basic of skills, yet remains one that most people have difficulty with. Improper communication can lead to negative conflict and lower productivity.
- Conflict: conflict can be good. Conflict often brings ideas to the table and is an effective way for groups to develop projects. Unfortunately, often conflict is used improperly or not managed in a positive way. This workshop explains the different types of conflict and how it can best be used.
Transition/Announcement Day Support
- Managing Organizational Change: this full one-day workshop introduces the concepts of transition and the necessity of change. It produces a transition team that will assist your company in moving forward more readily through times of change and transition.
- Individual Transition in Organizations: everyone reacts to change differently. This is due to the internal process of transition. This workshop will guide participants through the steps involved in transition, and help them to identify where they are. Employees that understand the process of transition are more able to work effectively through it.
- Who Moved My Cheese?: this is a fun one-day workshop that introduces the participants to four characters, each of whom see change differently. The characters are easy to relate to and assist people to understand their own reaction to change and the reaction of others. It will help people to better understand change and to start to deal more positively with it.
- Announcement Day Support:
our team is experienced in working with companies experiencing a reduction in staffing numbers. We have trained professionals that can be on hand to assist management as difficult news is delivered. Our company can assist with strategies for management and develop workshops for staff to assist with the acceptance of change, not only for those moving out of the company, but also for those who will stay.
- One-on-one Transition Counselling: trained professionals can be on-hand to work with employees that are experiencing difficulty in accepting change. Counselling can be made available on an as-need basis, in a private, confidential setting.
