Business Owner & Founder
ESP Consulting Ltd. and Worth Every Penny
Born and raised in Williams Lake, Penny’s maternal great grandfather was the legendary RC Cotton who immigrated from Hampton Court, England in 1897 and purchased the M.G. Drummond Ranch in Riske Creek (later the RC Cotton Ranch). Her great-grandmother was Maude Waller who came to the Chilcotin all the way from Tasmania, Australia in 1907. Penny’s paternal heritage is English, Scottish and Shuswap, from her Grandmother who was born in Dog Creek.
After attending Cariboo College in Kamloops and Kelowna, studying Business and Commerce, Penny moved to Sydney, Australia in 1977. After returning to Williams Lake in 1992, she started ESP Consulting Ltd. an employment services and human resources company.
Believing that successful leaders come from a place of mindfulness and respect, Penny’s natural ability to connect with people and her human approach to business has led to a successful and rewarding journey helping other people realize their dreams. She believes we never stop learning and embraces new opportunities that will allow her to make change, support others, and give back to her community. In this spirit she recently founded her new enterprise, Worth Every Penny, which supports artisans and entrepreneurial women globally.
Today she lives on North Lakeside, Williams Lake, and spends her winters travelling for her business ventures. You can reach Penny at email@example.com.
